Drink of the Week – Oyster Raw Bar’s ‘Prohibition Era Cocktail 12’

For this week’s cocktail we decided to check out the 1920s inspired Oyster, housed in the original Vancouver Stock Exchange Building built in 1929. While this retro raw bar is well-suited to the history of the building it still maintains an upscale and modern air. Owner Jeremy Towning serves unique signature dishes such as potted shrimp and oyster pot pie in addition to their house-designed ‘batched cocktails’.

This week’s Drink of the Week is the ‘Prohibition Era Cocktail 12’ served in vintage glassware. This glowing cocktail is an uplifting mix of gin, lillet, apricot brandy and orange juice – the perfect pick-me-up any day of the week.
