Vancouver Chefs Celebrate the Wines of Gaja at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia’s Spanish Ballroom
The Rosewood Hotel Georgia is honoured to welcome internationally acclaimed Angelo Gaja, one of the world’s greatest winemakers, to the historic Spanish Ballroom on Wednesday October 17th. Angelo Gaja, regarded to be the man who embodies Italian wine like no other, is credited with revolutionizing the wine business in Piedmont and changing the image of Italian wines.
Guests will learn from one of the best wine producers in the world, followed by an unparalleled seven-course gala dinner, each course paired with one of fourteen Gaja wines. Hotel Chef Ken Nakano is honoured to prepare the first course of the evening: grilled Atlantic lobster, beef cheek, foie gras, cabbage & truffle paired with Gaja Barbaresco 2008.
