Surrounded by enchanting Christmas trees and festive displays, the Rosewood Hotel Georgia’s Spanish Ballroom will be transformed into a magical winter wonderland this Christmas Eve, as the hotel prepares for the annual seafood buffet.
Feel the history in the beautifully restored ballroom while dining on an elegant seafood feast with your family and friends – a truly special Christmas occasion. Head Chef Ken Nakano will prepare a sumptuous seafood feast featuring Ocean Wise sushi, sashimi and oysters, a roast carving station with local, organic turkey and Oyama smoked ham, and ending with a decadent dessert buffet. Continue holiday traditions with winter-inspired cocktails at ‘1927’ Lobby Lounge – the Cavalier (Hennessey VS, organic apple juice, lemon and decanter bitters) is a stylish winter warmer or savour a Canadian Old Fashion (premium Alberta rye, house-made rosemary maple syrup and black walnut bitters), while listening to nightly live piano music. Families are welcome to admire beautiful displays of festive lights and decorations in the historic lobby, and post Christmas wish letters to the North Pole via the hotel’s original bronze letterbox, a feature from when the property first opened in 1927.
