Stylish Monday – Blubird PARTYSKIRTS Spring 2013 Launch Party
Last Wednesday local fashionistas flocked to Blubird on Alberni Street to check out the spring 2013 launch of PARTYSKIRTS, hosted by the fabulous Tara Parker Tait PR team. Blubird is one of Canada’s hippest boutiques with a gorgeous selection of fashion & accessories from some of the hottest designers and labels in the world, from Milan and Paris to New York and Los Angeles.
We were very excited to check out the vibrant new spring line of PARTYSKIRTS. Founded by the Armstrong sisters Lauren and Mariel of SKOT Apparel, PARTYSKIRTS was born in 2006 when their mother sewed two skirts for them while they were in New York and Los Angeles studying and working. Sure enough, the skirts garnered so much attention that boutiques reached out to them with demand – “the PARTYSKIRT had arrivedâ€.
We love PARTYSKIRTS just as much as the Armstrong sisters. Vibrant and unique, these skirts are so trendy and perfect for the spring season. Each are made of 100% Dupioni silk, made locally in Vancouver. Available at $195 in a range of 7 colours at Blubird.
