Foodie Friday – Vancouver Farmers’ Markets
The sun is – finally – shining and this weekend sees yet another farmers’ market opening up for the summer season. The Trout Lake and Kitsilano markets got an early start in May and tomorrow the Saturday West End market on Comox in Vancouver will be back again for the sunny months. We’re looking forward to picking up some seasonal hazelnuts, chicory, eggplant, kale, sunchokes and salad greens, as well as treats from The Pie Company and Bad Girl Chocolates. It’ll be a naughty but nice start to the summer for downtown foodies this Saturday between 9am and 2pm.
