Sparkling end to summer at annual Bubbles on the Beach party in Parksville
Make your September long weekend sparkle at The Beach Club Resort’s fifth annual Bubbles on the Beach. Located just steps from the sand of Parksville Beach on Vancouver Island’s east coast, the resort’s Pacific Prime Restaurant patio is the perfect place to soak up the sunshine and sample the finest local food and international sparkling wines.
On August 31st the sound of popping corks and live jazz will be floating on the breeze at providing a ‘prawn wall’ and local seafood ceviche.
Explore the tempting food stations with a glass of chilled BC bubbly in your hand – try sparkling wine from the Okanagan’s Lake Breeze Winery, or a fizzy fruit wine from Elephant Island Orchard Winery. Local florists Petal and Kettle will be showcasing their beautiful flowers and Hot Chocolates, an artisan chocolatier from the Comox Valley, will be providing the sweet treats. Body painting by Samantha Rae Body Art and a martini luge sculpted out of ice by artist Andrew McTavish add a creative adult twist to the event.
Tickets to the event cost $99 but if you book a Bubbles on the Beach package at The Beach Club you can enjoy two tickets to the main event and two tickets for a special Sunday brunch, combined with a stay in a studio room, from just $325 a night.
