Champagne Nail Bar opens at Nita Lake Lodge

Nita Lake Lodge unveils new spa space and announces property-wide partnership with Moët et Chandon

A one-of-a-kind spa experience is now available at Whistler’s leading boutique hotel. The Spa at Nita Lake Lodge has revealed a striking, newly renovated space, with a glamorous Champagne Nail Bar at its heart.

Complementing the newly licensed spa space, Nita Lake Lodge has developed a property-wide partnership with Moët et Chandon. A brand synonymous with celebrations, this historic champagne house is one of the oldest in the world and a celebrated name in the world of luxury – the perfect fit for Whistler’s leading luxury boutique hotel. Guests can choose from a selection of exclusive Champagne treatments starting from $120 or simply add a chilled Moët et Chandon Impérial Brut Mini to any treatment for $40.

“Our team is brimming with excitement to share our new spa space,” says Hannah Edwards, Manager at The Spa at Nita Lake Lodge. “Our partnership with Moët et Chandon demonstrates our commitment to the guest experience, resulting in a beautiful destination spa with dedicated spaces for guests to enjoy traditional massages and treatments, results-driven beauty technologies, and the perfect pairing of manicures and Moët Minis at our Champagne Nail Bar.”

The Guests are welcomed to The Spa at Nita Lake Lodge in the spacious reception and retail area, accessed via the new ground level entrance (previously the location of Loka Yoga). Here the focus is on esthetic treatments with space for four guests at the focal Champagne Nail Bar, as well as pedicure stations and two treatment rooms for aesthetic treatments including Verjú Laser and Hydrafacials. Upstairs, the space is dedicated to a spacious relaxation lounge alongside the main treatment rooms, changing spaces, revitalizing eucalyptus steam room and outdoor rooftop hot tubs with unmatched views of Whistler Mountain.

In keeping with the elegant design of the entire property, The Spa at Nita Lake Lodge features contemporary, clean lines and touches of mid-century modern with statement, handcrafted furniture and a palette of white, black and natural wood tones. The space has been taken from concept to reality by Massuger Design + BuildBradbury Architecture, alongside Interior Designer Kate Carlson from Bowerman’s Handcrafted Furniture and Cabinetry.  Working closely with the interior design team were Carolyn Scholz, co-owner of Nita Lake Lodge and Hannah Edwards, Spa Manager, ensuring that all details were taken care of and in keeping with the existing brand, design of The Spa and its vision for the future.   All cabinetry and live edge wood slabs were crafted by Bowerman’s renowned artisans.

The results of this collaboration include key design elements such as: 10ft long Champagne Nail Bar with a stone waterfall edge and pendant light fixtures; raised pedicure station with herringbone stained oak floor finish, live edge BC Maple wood slabs that are backlit to give a floating effect and ultra stylish HUPPÉ high back lounge chairs; custom-designed reception desk with wood veneer, white stone finish and eye-catching pendant chandelier from Roll & Hill with smoked glass globes; and a Moët et Chandon champagne fridge featuring Moët Minis.

New treatments and services include:

– Champagne Manicure $120: Nita Manicure with Moët Mini (60mins)
– Champagne Pedicure $140: Nita Pedicure with Moët Mini (75mins)
– Champagne Facial $215: Nita Signature Facial with Moët Mini (60mins) – Champagne Hydrafacial $385: Nita Signature Premium Hydrafacial® with Moët Mini (90mins)
