Drink of the Week – BBC2 Cocktail from Vancouver Aquarium’s 2011 Toast to the Coast
This week’s Drink of the Week we sampled at the 5th Annual Toast to the Coast that took place last Friday November 4th. Each year the Vancouver Aquarium transforms into a magical after-hours experience for Toast to the Coast where professionals gather to celebrate great wine and fin…e food. Considered by many to be one of the top fundraising events in the city, Toast to the Coast continues to grow bigger and better – this year raising over $80,000! A great event with a good cause, 100% of the event proceeds support the Aquarium’s commitment to effecting the conservation of aquatic life and our waterways.
The highlight cocktail of the evening was a BBC2 cocktail by the Donnelly Group Bar & Beverage Director Trevor Kallies. This special sipper is a mix of Cointreau, gin, Kronenbourg Blanc, orgeat syrup, orange bitters and fresh orange.
