Behind the Scenes – Redfish Kids Clothing Flagship Store Opening

Just last week Redfish Kids Clothing welcomed a small group of media, concierge and VIPs for a private viewing of their very first flagship store. Guests enjoyed Japanese light-bites and wine as they got to personally meet and greet with Designer / Co-founder Lorraine Kitsos and Co-founder Kristy Brinkley. The new Vancouver store echoes the Redfish design aesthetic with clean white lines and an oversized glass-topped counter filled with colourful trinkets. A curated selection toys and books complement the distinctive clothing line including time-honoured brands such as Petit Bateau, Steiff Germany, Raplapla from Montreal and Playsam Toys from the UK.

The playful and versatile line was founded in 2005 and has previously only been available online and in select boutiques worldwide. 100% locally made and sweatshop-free, Redfish Kids Clothing was created as a symbol of commitment to children and a celebration of their courage, bravery and unlimited potential. Quickly gaining popularity, Redfish has engaged an almost cult-like following of loyal supporters and even had a starring role in Hollywood when its signature black and white ‘Swing Dress’ was featured in the 2010 hit movie Eat Pray Love. More recently leading lady Salma Hayek and beautiful daughter Valentina were snapped in Venice with Valentina looking lovely in a pretty pink Redfish ‘Butterfly Dress’.

Make sure you stop by and check out the adorable new Redfish Kids Clothing flagship store, located in the heart of downtown Vancouver at 851 Hornby Street. For more information visit www.redfishkidsclothing.com.
