Design Wednesday – melk

We first heard about melk at the hip and trendy Eastside Cultural Crawl and fell in love with their unique and thoughtful designs right away. Made locally in Vancouver, melk’s artwork are inspired by natural and city landscapes using a mix of re-purposed and new materials. The subtle but detailed illustrations are burned, etched or screened onto the medium, giving each piece a profound and whimsical view on the relationship between humans and animals.
