Foodie Friday – Italian Day

Ciao! This Sunday we’re heading to East Vancouver to celebrate Italian Day on The Drive. We’re excited about trying authentic Italian pizzas, pastas and gelatos from local businesses in the outdoor market.  A Venetian-style carnival, live music, fashion shows and a pizza-tossing contest will keep us busy between the chef demonstrations. We’re going to check out Nick Grant making fritole (Carnival donuts) at 1:30 pm, 
Peppe Gioe creating fusilli carbonara at 3pm, 
Nevada Cope whipping up fritelle di riso (Carnival rice fritters) at 4:30 pm and host Romy Prasad finishing off the day with handmade gnocchi pomodoro at 6pm.
