Le Creuset Introduces Licorice – “Le Nouveau Noir”
Le Creuset unveils the newest addition to their collection of signature hues
Licorice. Inspired by flavourful European classics like espresso and truffles, this sophisticated matte black object d’art is set to enter some of the world’s finest kitchens in April 2015. Licorice creates a classic elegant look, teamed with brighter shades from Le Creuset’s colour palette, adds warmth and ambiance to the table.
This standout hue was motivated by post-modern influences that inspired Le Creuset to recall traditions and respect the act and art of cooking – with a resolutely modern aesthetic inspired by today’s lifestyles and minimalism Licorice enhances popular muted colour palettes of modern kitchens and conjures a new, timeless look. This latest colour will be available in a selection of Le Creuset’s portfolio of quality Enameled Cast-Iron Cookware, Coffee Collection and Revolution® Tools.
Since Le Creuset first introduced Flame Enamelled Cast Iron Cookware, colour has been at the heart of their work. Inspirational and impactful, colours have become as central to Le Creuset’s character as their renowned dependable quality. Today, Le Creuset’s range of signature shades continues to evolve, building on the best of the past and shaping the trends of tomorrow.
The contemporary stylized hue of Licorice will join Le Creuset’s nine colours available in the Canadian marketplace, with items priced from $18 to $440.
