Spread the love this Christmas with Cause We Care’s 9th annual hamper drive
Cause We Care encourages Vancouverites to spread the love this Christmas and give back to the community. On December 8th Cause We Care will host the 9th Annual Christmas Hamper Drive with a goal of delivering 650 hampers, filled with essential food items and small gifts, to frontline organizations in the Lower Mainland to single mother-led families and children in need.
Over the last eight years, Cause We Care has successfully aided frontline organizations by delivering 5,282 hampers to low-income families across the Greater Vancouver area. The Cause We Care hamper drive has recently become the largest drive in Vancouver. The holidays can be an extremely trying time for single mother-led families in Vancouver. Cause We Care aims to relieve some of the stress these mothers are faced with by providing basic household necessities, food and simple but heartfelt gifts so that they can focus on enjoying the company of loved ones.
“The holidays can be a very difficult time for these families,” says Laura Reynolds, North Shore Crisis Services Society. “With the help of organizations like Cause We Care Foundation we have been able to provide families in need with food, household products and gifts that can sustain them through the holidays and offers them some well-needed Christmas cheer.”
