Meet our new team members: Jennifer and Jenny

We’re thrilled to welcome two new members to our growing team. Meet Jenny and Jennifer, our newest additions to the Hawksworth Communications office, and find out more about their journey into Public Relations.

Jennifer Musekamp, Account Assistant

Born and raised in Germany, Jennifer wanted to see the world after finishing high school, so she au-paired and travelled in the US and Spain for two years before completing a BA in Multilingual Communication in Cologne, Germany and an MA in Communication, Media Practice & Public Relations in Swansea, Wales. Her love of travelling and nature eventually led her to Vancouver, where Jennifer joined our team in June 2015 as an intern before taking on the role of Account Assistant. “I’m excited to be a permanent member of the team now,” says Jennifer. “ The thing that I enjoy most about my role is that no one day is like the other and that there are a lot of different aspects to the job.”

 

Jenny Fung, PR & Marketing Account Executive

Born and raised in Vancouver, Jenny began her studies with an interest in psychology and fashion but always loved travelling and went to live in Sydney for a year in 2008, working in hospitality. Returning to Vancouver for the 2010 Winter Olympics, Jenny continued her hospitality career at renowned restaurants such as Miku. Jenny went back to Australia in 2012, where she worked with Pony Dining Group in a marketing role, before returning to Vancouver and using her extensive hospitality background to bring her skills to our team, mainly focusing on Hawksworth Restaurant Group.  “I’m learning a whole new world of PR and getting to test my writing skills,” says Jennifer. “I have always been outgoing and personable and now I’m enjoying building relationships, hosting media and having the opportunity to attend events.”
