Ladurée partners with renowned fashion illustrator Kerrie Hess
Ladurée, the world-renowned luxury French pâtisserie, is pleased to partner with celebrated fashion illustrator Kerrie Hess on a new seasonal window display and three highly collectable, limited edition macaron boxes, available at all Ladurée locations globally including the Vancouver Boutique and Tea Salon.
With a rich history dating back to 1862 in Paris, Ladurée is best known for creating the world’s most delectable macarons, presented in exquisite gift boxes, alongside delicious pastries, sweets and savoury treats.
“Illustrating packaging for Maison Ladurée was such a perfect match for me,” says illustrator Kerrie Hess. “It took me straight back to my time living in Paris. I wanted to capture the beauty and tradition of the Ladurée brand in its iconic pastel tones through paint, as well as a touch of fashion and whimsy.”
Australian-born artist Kerrie Hess has illustrated fashion windows, silk scarves and packaging for international labels from Chanel to Kate Spade and Louis Vuitton, and her designs have graced the pages of Vogue, Tatler and Harper’s Bazaar magazines. Bringing in elements of her time spent living in London, Hong Kong and Paris, her pretty pastel fashion illustrations have an international flair and feature a distinctively chic Parisian style.
The Kerrie Hess limited edition boxes are available in three different designs, each containing eight assorted macarons ($32). Available starting today at Ladurée Boutique and Tea Salon, located at 1141 Robson Street, Vancouver, BC. Open seven days a week, 10am to 9pm.
