Vancouver BC (February 23, 2017)Redfish Kids Clothing unveils its 80-piece Spring 2017 collection, now available both in-store and online. Designed and made in Vancouver, the brand’s biggest collection yet meets growing demand for stylish yet durable kids fashion, featuring new textured fabrics and 98% organic material.

An ode to all things primavera, the fresh designs draw on the new start of spring; conjuring up the floral bloom of English country gardens springing into life and buds bursting through the frost, bringing the promise of warm days to come. Colours are reminiscent of the deep pastel palette of Claude Monet’s Water Lilies series, which was inspired by the artist’s own country garden in Giverny, France. Similar to French impressionist paintings, the collection is anchored by hues of blue with pink accents – from cerulean to denim, ocean and lapis with bursts of petal, peony, watermelon and magenta.

“We always like to go big and bold with our spring collection and 2017 is no exception,” says Kristy Brinkley, co-founder of Redfish Kids. “All pieces are designed to be layered, with leggings or jeans under dresses, and sweatshirts under or over blouses; we encourage kids to have fun with fashion and find their own style.”
