Welcome spring at Bel Café with seasonal Easter treats

VANCOUVER, BC (March 30, 2017): Spring is on the way at Bel Café with seasonal Easter treats and takeaways. Ring in the special holiday with pastry chef, Wayne Kozinko’s delicious delights or welcome the warmer months ahead with lighter, balanced flavours of springtime menu features.
“This time of year is one of my favorites to play with lighter, fresh flavours and Easter is the perfect occasion to showcase them,” explains Wayne Kozinko.
As an Easter staple, hot cross buns will return this year to Bel Café. To be enjoyed as a mid-day treat or pre-ordered in larger quantities to entertain your friends and family at the Easter dinner table, the fruity buns are a well-loved classic served freshly baked each morning.
For a holiday dessert, treat yourself or your dinner guests to a lavish entremet with balanced flavours of blackberry, citrus and verbena or the salted caramel and milk chocolate choux puff. Both are available to enjoy as a individual indulgence or in larger orders for a group through Bel Café’s catering. Both desserts and buns are exclusively available from April 10th to 16th.
Other creations, available throughout the spring include a farrow & halloumi salad, freshly made each morning for a light lunch to grab-and-go, or the turkey sandwich with tangy flavours from a Mexican-mole sauce and pickled jalapeño, served on potato-scallion bread. Bright colours and bold flavours will also spice up Bel Café’s drink selections with the turmeric latte, available iced or hot and made and lightly sweetened with a honey-turmeric syrup and unsweetened almond milk, or the refreshingly light turmeric sparkling lemonade.
