New York, NY (May 5, 2017) Tiffany & Co. today unveiled its newly designed Burrard Street store in celebration of the brand’s 10th anniversary in Vancouver. The evolved store design concept offers visitors a modern and luxurious setting, sparkling with the diamonds for which Tiffany has been known for 180 years.

On the corner of Burrard and Alberni Streets, identified for its growing status as an international business center, Tiffany & Co. reaffirms its commitment to the Vancouver community with a magnificent shopping environment. Today, Vancouver continues to embrace the three Tiffany stores, allowing the brand to flourish in this key market for luxury goods. Tiffany & Co.’s overall commitment to Canada is significant with locations also in Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal and Ottawa.

“Our investment in this new space is a representation of our commitment to Canada and to the city of Vancouver. We are looking forward to further prosperity and development of the TIFFANY & CO. brand here in the Vancouver market. We join you in celebrating Canada’s 150th birthday this year,” said Wendy Eagan, Vice President of Tiffany & Co. Canada.

With an addition of a second floor, the square footage of the Burrard Street store has nearly tripled its size increasing from 3,322 square-feet to 9,762 square-feet upon completion. This expansion of selling space allows for Tiffany to showcase a broader range of its iconic assortment and to better serve its clientele.

The impressive granite façade is inspired by the Fifth Avenue flagship, along with American Deco skyscrapers and luxury high-rises of the 1930s and 1940s. The façade has been reinvigorated with branded awnings and accent bands in the company’s signature Tiffany Blue as well as halo-lit signage. The curved building exterior – quite the architectural feat – allows for increased corner visibility.

Just inside the front doors, guests enter a double-height space featuring high ceilings with a metal balustrade that punctuates the new second floor mezzanine above. Hand-leafed and hand-forged Tiffany Magnolia chandeliers by New York-based artist Michele Oka Doner hang overhead, illuminating the Tiffany diamonds beneath.

Guests then proceed into the Fine Jewellery Salon, an elegant and spacious environment which also offers a dedicated Tiffany & Co. watch display. The Salon aesthetic is a striking balance between masculine and feminine. The store features Fashion, Bridal, Gift and Private Sales Salons. The experience is a heightened sense of luxury with meticulous attention to detail and incorporates noble materials including marble, cerused walnut paneling, velvet drapery and upholstered walls.

The Burrard Street store will feature Tiffany HardWear, the new fashion gold collection officially launching in May. The store will also feature exquisite stones displayed in engagement rings—the ultimate symbols of true love—and jewels with rare colored diamonds, including Tiffany Yellow Diamonds. Beauty also shines in the bejeweled masterpieces of Jean Schlumberger, sculptural jewellery of Elsa Peretti and the colorful collections of Paloma Picasso—Tiffany’s exclusive designers. Customers will also discover new interpretations of Tiffany T, Tiffany Victoria™, Tiffany Bow and Tiffany Infinity—signature collections reimagined to be worn alone or in dazzling multiples.
