Victoria’s Magnolia Hotel & Spa to Unveil Newly Designed Bathrooms in Diamond-level Guest Rooms this Spring
Canada’s #1 hotel just keeps getting better!
Located in the heart of Victoria, the boutique Magnolia Hotel & Spa has started a full remodel of their Diamond-level guest room bathrooms, located on the upper two floors of the hotel.
Keeping this award-winning, much-loved hotel fresh and modern yet tasteful and timeless has always been paramount to the local ownership group, continuing to partner with Vancouver-based BBA Design Consultants, the team behind the elegantly curated design elements throughout both the hotel and signature restaurant, The Courtney Room.
“We are excited to bring refreshed, new looking bathrooms to guests staying in our Diamond-level guest rooms this spring,” says Bill Lewis, general manager of the Magnolia Hotel & Spa. “Our team has always been driven by upholding the highest standards and we are proud of our decision to continue to upgrade areas of the hotel before it becomes necessary. Although the past year has been more challenging than any of us could imagine, we are committed to forging forward positively, continuing to welcome guests with thoughtful design features alongside our award-winning commitment to guest service and experience.”
The new bathrooms will feel bright and revitalized whilst in keeping with the soft colour tones of the hotel’s guest rooms. New design features will include large format porcelain tiles on both walls and floor, inspired by feathery grey-veined Italian marble with a polished finish; contemporary, polished chrome Kohler fixtures; luxurious solid marble countertops on silver oak cabinetry; and custom mirrors. Some bathrooms will feature oversized soaker tubs while others will have spacious showers with multiple spa-like shower heads. The overall palette will complement the guest rooms with silver, grey and taupe hues, complemented by upgraded overhead and feature lighting as well as under counter night lights.
Until the new Diamond-level bathrooms are unveiled in March, these guest rooms will be out of service, in order to minimize impact and inconvenience to current guests.
With just 64 guest rooms, the Magnolia Hotel & Spa’s boutique nature has adapted well to travel during the pandemic.
