Run, don’t walk… “OMG” Half Corked ticket release is back

Mark your calendars: limited spots available for purchase on July 20th, 2021 at 9:00am

On Tuesday, July 20th at 9:00am PT Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country will be releasing a limited number of “OMG” tickets for the immensely popular Half Corked experience, which takes place on Saturday September 11th, 2021. Tickets cost $240 plus tax and booking fee.

“Our annual ticket lottery sees thousands of people trying to get a hold of Half Corked tickets, and this year was no exception,” says Jennifer Busmann, executive director of Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country. “With restrictions easing and more people keen to visit our region this fall, we’ve carved out the capacity to offer extra tickets to allow more friend and family groups to experience Half Corked together.”

Celebrating thirteen years of welcoming guests to the region’s picture-perfect vineyards, the 2021 wine country experience sees an updated format offering participants a unique, outdoor wine tasting journey. The route will be expanded to offer two starting points with increased waves to allow plenty of space for participants as well as a route that showcases both the Black Sage Road and the Golden Mile Bench with 18 wine stops along the way. Costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded. Participants will complete the route at the Oliver Community Park where the Party at the Finish Line will include individual picnic packs, more wine tasting and live entertainment.

Also new for 2021, transportation will be provided to the two start lines from Penticton as well as Oliver and Osoyoos, included for all guests in the ticket price, opening up more accommodation options for participants. Transport to and from Penticton is also offered for those attending Primavera.

Limited space is available at popular pre-race wine dinner, Primavera ($120pp plus tax and booking fee) on Friday September 10th, where the vineyards will be brought to guests in the lush surrounds of Oliver Community Park. Vancouver’s Paella Guys and Oliver Eats Ltd. will prepare a delicious feast for guests paired with wines from vineyards nearby. Dinner on the Farm at Kismet Estate Winery is now sold out.

All Half Corked weekend experiences will closely follow regional and provincial restrictions and recommendations at the time, in order keep our guests, winery teams and communities safe.

150 “OMG” tickets will be available online at www.oliverosoyoos.com at 9:00am PT on Tuesday, July 20th until they are sold. Only one ticket per person permitted.
