Magnolia Hotel & Spa is Named to Travel + Leisure’s 2023 T+L 500 list of the Best Hotels in the World
The Magnolia Hotel & Spa is honoured to announce its inclusion in the 2023 edition of Travel + Leisure’s T+L 500, a list of the leading 500 hotels in the world.

Each year, the readers of Travel + Leisure – the largest travel media brand in the United States, with an audience of over 36 million – vote for their favorite hotels, destinations, cities and more in the World’s Best Awards survey. Drawing on the 2022 survey results, Travel + Leisure recognizes the 500 best hotels around the globe in the 2023 edition of the T+L 500. The T+L 500 properties are divided into eight geographic regions, designed to serve as a trusted resource for millions of enthusiastic travelers.
Located in the heart of Victoria, moments from the picturesque Inner Harbour, the Magnolia Hotel & Spa offers a truly boutique experience for guests. Celebrating 25 years, the hotel offers 64 elegant guests rooms, some with gas fireplaces and Harbour views, with thoughtful touches including Nespresso coffee, Dyson hair dryers and local amenities including Salt Spring Island Soapworks and Silk Road Tea, as well as signature restaurant The Courtney Room and Spa Magnolia in the hotel’s lobby.
To mark their silver anniversary, the hotel has partnered with the Okanagan’s Fitzpatrick Family Vineyards to create Celebrate Fitz Brut, a traditional method sparkling wine made from 100% estate-grown grapes. Balanced and bright, the wine features aromatics of Asian pear and lemon peel and a palate of crunchy stonefruit and crisp red apple. A blend of 73% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir and 2% Meunier, aged on lees in bottle for a minimum of three years, Celebrate is offered to guests checking in on Fridays and Saturdays as a Sparkling Welcome, as well as available to purchase in the mini bar and enjoy in The Courtney Room.
The hotel is also offering a Celebrate Summer package, which includes a complimentary 750ml bottle of Celebrate Fitz sparkling wine, $75 per night to dine at The Courtney Room, continental breakfast each morning and an evening turndown service. The package is available from $409 per night, May 1st to October 15th, with a two night minimum stay.
