2025 Half Corked Marathon Early Bird tickets go on sale August 1st for a limited time

Snap up tickets to one of Canada’s most anticipated events at the lowest price 

Oliver, B.C. (July 25th, 2024): Following the success of the largest Half Corked Marathon to date, a limited number of Early Bird tickets for the 2025 event will be released on Thursday August 1st, 2024 at 10am PT, offering full access to one of the country’s most hotly anticipated events. 

“We are very excited to be working with our event sponsors and local partners to create another captivating Half Corked Marathon weekend for 2025,” says Jennifer Busmann, executive director of Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country, organizers of the event. “Every year, participants put so much effort, energy and love into their creative costumes and it inspires us to make the weekend bigger and better, from the scenic route and winery experiences, to elevated dinners between the vines.”

Taking place on Saturday May 31st, 2025, the Half Corked Marathon is a truly unique 22km fun run, which weaves participants through the vineyards and valleys of the region’s iconic wine-growing areas. Winery stations dot the route culminating in the Finish Line Party, where runners receive a delicious, fresh paella lunch and can enjoy live music and more delectable wines in a lush park setting. Creative costumes are encouraged and prizes are awarded for the best individual costume, best team and best skit.

The weekend also includes the Primavera Party, a casual, long table dinner with live music on Friday May 30th, and a more intimate, elegant dining experience at a local venue. Both evening events include transportation from Oliver and Osoyoos, dinner, wine and entertainment. 

Previously named one of Canada’s events of the year at the Canadian Tourism Awards, the Half Corked Marathon was originally inspired by the Marathon du Medoc in Bordeaux, France, and has grown into an compelling event that captures the vibrant spirit of Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country and its characters. 

Early Bird tickets are offered at 2024 pricing, $275 plus tax per person, available for a limited time. The ticket price includes registration for the 2025 Half Corked Marathon including lunch and wine tastings, transportation from Oliver, Osoyoos and Penticton to the start line and a safe ride home. The general ticket lottery will be offered in the fall.
