Naturally Pacific Resort Named to Travel + Leisure’s 2025 It List

CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C. (April 16, 2025) – Naturally Pacific Resort, Vancouver Island’s newest destination resort, has been recognized as one of the best new hotels of the year according to the Travel + Leisure 2025 It List, announced earlier today.
“We’re incredibly proud to be named to the Travel + Leisure It List,” said Amanda Mailman, owner of Naturally Pacific Resort. “This recognition reflects the heart and vision behind Naturally Pacific Resort – to create a place where elegance and nature live in harmony, and every guest feels the magic of the West Coast. It’s an exciting moment not just for our team, but for the entire Campbell River community.”
This carefully curated and coveted list spotlights the 100 most notable new hotels and resorts around the globe, chosen by Travel + Leisure magazine’s editors and contributors. The chosen hotels are also allocated into easy-to-navigate categories, such as Best New Affordable Luxury Hotels in the World, where Naturally Pacific Resort ranked 12/17. Recognized for its contemporary design, genuine service and connection to the natural beauty of Vancouver Island, Naturally Pacific Resort stands among the world’s most exciting hospitality openings of the year.
Travel + Leisure reports that guests at Naturally Pacific Resort are greeted by “life-size photographs of the area’s powerful landscape: the rushing waters at Myra Falls, snow-covered Mount Washington, grizzly bears hunting salmon in the Bute Inlet.” The magazine also notes that this connection to nature continues in the 100 guestrooms, with “textured wall coverings in blues and greens, earth-toned furnishings, and stone counters and vanities.” It goes on to highlight the resort’s “10,000-square-foot garden, an apiary, and an orchard,” which supply fresh ingredients to the on-site restaurants. One especially memorable feature: the option to decline housekeeping and instead “purchase one square meter of protected rainforest…through the resort’s partner, Wilderness International”.
Travel + Leisure is one of the world’s leading travel media brands. Each year, the magazine’s editors and contributors evaluate hundreds of new properties across the globe, selecting only those that deliver truly outstanding and memorable travel experiences, which are named to their annual It List.
Independently and locally owned, Naturally Pacific Resort has quickly made its mark as a modern, thoughtfully designed retreat – where personalized service and elevated amenities meet the untamed beauty of Vancouver Island’s sheltered east coast.
