Magnolia Hotel & Spa Unveils Refreshed Diamond Guestrooms

Diamond guestrooms now feature a palette of rich grey velvets, soft camel tones, and warm brass accents in mirror frames and table lamps. By simplifying the décor and carefully selecting fewer, more meaningful elements, the rooms feel open and inviting.
“The goal was to create a high-end residential feel that’s relaxing and refined,” says interior designer Sharon Bortolotto of BBA Design Consultants. “By focusing on texture, tone and carefully curated pieces, each room becomes a sanctuary from which to explore the city.”
Every guestroom features original, signed artwork by Victoria artist Donna Anderson, whose inspiration is drawn from the shifting natural landscapes of the West Coast. Using acrylics and gels, Anderson builds texture and movement on canvas, capturing horizons, clouds, oceans and forests. Her work brings subtle depth and connection to the surrounding environment, enhancing the calm, refined atmosphere of the guestrooms.
