2027 Half Corked Marathon Tickets go on Sale July 28, 2026
Oliver, B.C. (July 23, 2026): A limited number of Skip the Lottery tickets for the 2027 Half Corked Marathon will go on sale on Tuesday July 28, 2026, giving participants the opportunity to secure their place before the annual lottery opens later this year.
Returning to Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country on Saturday May 29, 2027, the Half Corked Marathon marks its 19th year as one of Canada’s most anticipated wine country events. Each year, 1,800 participants swap personal bests for vineyard views, winery stops and plenty of laughs, making their way through one of the country’s most memorable running routes.
Traditionally available through a lottery each fall, Skip the Lottery tickets offer those eager to plan ahead the chance to confirm their spot before the public draw.
“The Half Corked Marathon has become a tradition for so many people because it captures everything that makes our region so special,” says Jennifer Busmann, Executive Director of Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country. “From our incredible wineries and beautiful landscapes to the welcoming community and playful atmosphere, it’s a weekend unlike any other. Skip the Lottery tickets give guests the opportunity to start planning their getaway early and guarantee they won’t miss out.”
Participants don colourful costumes before making their way through vineyard rows and wineries, stopping to sample local wines while experiencing the hospitality and character that define the region. The celebration continues at the Finish Line Party at Oliver Community Park, featuring lunch, live music, wine tastings and costume prizes.
The festivities extend well beyond the run, with a full weekend of events. The Tailgate Social kicks things off on Thursday May 27, followed by The Block Party on Friday May 28, before Dinner at the Farm on Saturday evening. Mandatory in-person race registration takes place on Friday May 28, from 10am to 5pm at Oliver Community Park.
Skip the Lottery tickets will be available from 8am PT on Tuesday July 28 until sold out. Tickets cost $299 per person plus taxes and fees, and include registration for the 2027 Half Corked Marathon, lunch, wine tastings and round-trip transportation from Oliver, Osoyoos and Penticton to the start line and back following the event.
