2026 Half Corked Marathon tickets go on sale July 23rd, 2025

Oliver, B.C. (July 15th, 2025): It’s part run, part wine tasting, and all-out fun. The 18th Half Corked Marathon returns to the vineyards of Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country on Saturday May 30th, 2026, and for those eager to lock in their spot, a limited release of “Skip the Lottery” tickets will be available starting July 23, 2025.
“The Half Corked Marathon is a joyful celebration of community, creativity and the incredible wines that define our region,” says Jennifer Busmann, executive director of Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country. “Inspired by the legendary Marathon du Médoc in Bordeaux, it has, over the past 17 years, evolved into an extended weekend that’s distinctly South Okanagan – playful, welcoming and rooted in the spirit of our wine country.”
Blending wine, whimsy and the South Okanagan’s spectacular scenery, the 2026 Half Corked Marathon will welcome 1,700 participants, many in elaborate costumes, to wind their way through the region’s iconic vineyards and wine-growing areas, stopping for sips at tasting stations along the 22km long route. Live music, themed teams and spontaneous dance breaks between the vines are all part of the experience. The run culminates at the Finish Line Party, where runners receive a delicious lunch and can enjoy live music and more delectable wines together, in a lush park setting. Prizes are awarded for the best individual costume, best team and best skit.
And the fun doesn’t end with the run: guests can enjoy an extended weekend of elegant vineyard dinners and immersive winery events. Kicking off on Thursday, May 28th, the festivities include the debut of The Block Party and the return of the beloved Dinner at the Farm, with plenty to enjoy in between. Mandatory in-person registration takes place at Oliver Community Park on Friday, May 29th, between 11am and 7pm.
Typically sold out via a high-demand lottery, this exclusive ticket release offers early access to one of Canada’s most sought-after destination events.
Skip the Lottery tickets go on sale at 9.00AM (PDT) on Tuesday, July 23, until they are sold out, at www.oliverosoyoos.com and cost $289.99 per person plus tax and fees. Availability is limited. The ticket price includes registration for the 2026 Half Corked Marathon, lunch and wine tastings and transportation from Oliver, Osoyoos and Penticton to the start line and a safe ride home.
