Women in Wine Take Centre Stage: Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country Partners With Vancouver’s Belgard Kitchen for a Special Winemakers Dinner

Vancouver, BC (October 14th, 2025): Three of the Okanagan Valley’s most celebrated female winemakers are bringing the flavours of Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country to the west coast in “Savour the Sun Vancouver”, a six-course wine dinner in collaboration with The Belgard Kitchen on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. 

Guests will spend the evening with three of British Columbia’s most celebrated female winemakers – Val Tait from Gold Hill Winery, Manpreet Dhaliwal from Kismet Estate Winery and Stefanie Dylla from Domaine Artema Winery – and enjoy a multi-course feast designed to showcase specially chosen wines from each of their winery’s cellars.  

“Partnering with The Belgard Kitchen allows us to bring the very best of the South Okanagan to Vancouver,” says Jennifer Busmann, executive director of Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country. “It’s been wonderful to work so closely with the Belgard Kitchen team to create an event that is a true combination of their culinary talents, paired with wines from an exceptional trio of female winemakers. Guests are in for an unforgettable evening.”

The Belgard Kitchen’s culinary team received the wines in advance in order to create a menu that pairs beautifully, while highlighting the fresh, locally sourced ingredients and globally inspired flavours that define the restaurant’s approach. Set in a modern, vibrant Gastown space with intimate dining areas and warm lighting, the evening combines insight from the winemakers, delicious plates and paired wines for an engaging dining experience.

Menu highlights include a vibrant Beet Salad paired with Gold Hill Winery’s 2022 Sauvignon Blanc, setting the tone with fresh, bright flavours that highlight the region’s terroir. Guests will then move to the rich and comforting Braised Short Rib Risotto complemented by Domaine Artema Winery’s 2022 Gamay Cru, followed by an indulgent Roasted Duck Breast with Sour Cherry Jus paired with Kismet Estate Winery’s 2021 Moksha.
