Drink of the Week – Cure Lounge and Patio ‘Cedar Sour’ Cocktail

This week we escaped to the warm and welcoming Nita Lake Lodge in Whistler. After the Sea-to-Sky drive we checked into Cure Lounge & Patio to rewind over tasty cocktails and devoured the signature charcuterie platter crafted by talented Executive Chef Own Foster, known for his love and affinity for cured meats. To complement the cocktail list, guests will find a light menu inspired by wholesome and natural ingredients.

Cure Lounge uses everything from fresh herbs to fruit to chocolate with spirits, making for a unique beverage culture and cocktail menu that commands attention. With its warm fireplace and expansive patio, Cure is the perfect après ski spot from day on the mountain or stroll on the valley trail. Live music is featured on weekends, and an ongoing calendar of special events such as patio barbeques and wine tastings ensure there is always something going on!

This week’s Drink of the Week is a ‘Cedar Sour’ cocktail – a smokey but enlightening mix of Cedar Rye, fresh lemon juice, lemon thyme syrup and egg white shaken over ice.
