Drink of the Week – Hawksworth Restaurant ‘Hotel Georgia’ enRoute Cocktail of the Year
This week’s Drink of the Week features Hawksworth Restaurant’s signature ‘Hotel Georgia’ cocktail, which was recently named Cocktail of the Year by enRoute. First appearing circa 1951, and tweaked by Hawksworth Restaurant’s Bar & Lounge Manager Brad Stanton, this delicious cocktail is now a staple at 1927 and Hawksworth.
Beginning with the eggwhite, combine all ingredients in a mixing vessel. Shake mixture briefly (without ice). Add ice and shake vigorously for around 20 seconds and then strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a chilled cocktail glass. Grate a little fresh nutmeg onto the surface and enjoy!
