Hawksworth Restaurant Launches Dinner Prix Fixe Menu

$45 three-course dinner delivers elevated cuisine, exceptional service,
and excellent value

Hawksworth Restaurant is pleased to celebrate the autumn season with a brand new Dinner Prix Fixe Menu. Delivering exceptional value at $45 for an amuse-bouche and three courses, the new dinnertime feature offers guests the opportunity to experience Hawksworth’s award-winning cuisine, wines, and efficient, friendly service through a seasonally-changing set price menu.

“This new menu is designed to showcase the creativity and expertise of our culinary and sommelier teams with a focus on value and quality,” says David Hawksworth, Chef & Owner, Hawksworth Restaurant Group, “it gives our guests another way to experience Hawksworth, offering the opportunity to enjoy a progressive four-course menu as an alternative to our established seven-course BC Journey Tasting menu and A La Carte menu options.”

Dishes such as apple salad with kale, ginger breadcrumbs, honey vinaigrette, and parsnip velouté with local mussels and cucumber or grilled Pacific octopus with braised fennel, beans, and espelette demonstrate a simple yet refined approach to cooking from Hawksworth’s talented Chef de Cuisine Antonio Sotomayor. To finish, acclaimed Pastry Chef Wayne Kozinko offers a silky smooth crema Catalana dessert made with aerated yuzu, topped with puffed rice.

Wine pairings by celebrated Hawksworth Group Wine Director, Bryant Mao are priced at $25 and have been carefully chosen from the restaurant’s award-winning and diverse 720 label collection, to enhance each dish; a 2016 L’ Ecole 41 Semillon from the Columbia Valley in Washington is perfectly paired with the housemade cavatelli with roasted squash and red pepper, ricotta, and crispy sage. “The roasting of the squash brings out a nuttiness and sweetness in the dish that pairs perfectly with this fuller bodied white wine, an absolutely delicious pairing for fall,” says Mao.

Hawksworth Restaurant’s new Dinner Prix Fixe menu is priced at $45 ($70 with wine pairings) and is offered Sunday to Thursday alongside the full A La Carte Menu and seven course BC Journey Tasting Menu.
