Le Creuset Welcomes Chef Martin Picard
One of the most celebrated chefs in the Canadian culinary scene, Chef Martin Picard of award-winning Au Pied de Cochon in Montreal, Quebec, and host of Food Network’s â€œWild Chefâ€, will make guest appearances to conduct book signings at Le Creuset’s flagship stores in Toronto, Montreal and Calgary for the debut of his new book Sugar Shack Au Pied de Cochon.
Chef Picard believes in sourcing only local, organic ingredients; his culinary style of recreating classic, heritage dishes reflects Le Creuset’s celebrated history as an enduring cookware brand in kitchens around the world. It’s also the cookware of choice for Chef Picard.
Chef Martin Picard’s newest book, Sugar Shack Au Pied de Cochon, is a cross between an art book and a culinary encyclopedia. A tribute to gastronomical and sugar-making traditions, showcasing the unique qualities and uses of an iconic Canadian ingredient: maple syrup.
