More Reasons to Visit Tinhorn Creek Vineyards and Miradoro Restaurant

Tinhorn Creek Vineyards is offering much more than just world-class wine this year. Tinhorn invites visitors to enjoy art, music and food in a series of events during the summer.

Summer Farmers Market comes to Tinhorn Creek Winery every Sunday 1-4pm until Labour Day weekend. Shop for sustainable, seasonal fruit and produce grown locally in the South Okanagan. Vendors at the market are trusted local growers who bring the freshest and highest quality ingredients from their farms to our guests at Miradoro Restaurant.

The Canadian Concert Series has three upcoming events this year, held in Tinhorn Creek’s outdoor amphitheatre atop the winery’s hillside overlooking the famed Golden Mile. This year features Redeye Empire Saturday July 28, Said The Whale Saturday August 25 and Sloan Saturday September 8. Tickets for Redeye Empire are $35, Said the Whale, $40, and Sloan, $60. Music in the Vineyard brings local musicians to perform outdoors in the demonstration vineyard Sunday’s from 2-4pm: August 12 features Ari Neufeld and his creative blend of folk rock; August 19 will be Ingrid Schellenberg, principal harpist for the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra. Stop by this free event to catch a few songs or stay for the afternoon.

Local artists will showcase their work in the viewing galleries of Tinhorn Creek from August 25 to September 8. Visitors are invited to stop by any time during business hours to view work. Paintings are for sale through the wine shop. Visitors will have a window into the world of local artists with a chance to see the artist on hand each day working on their next masterpiece.

Chef vs Chef Winemaker Dinner is a winner-takes-all face-off at Miradoro Restaurant Friday September 28 at 6:30pm. Join Sandra Oldfield as Miradoro Executive Chef Jeff Van Geest and Hawksworth Restaurant Executive Chef David Hawksworth alternate courses, pairing their dishes with the latest Oldfield Series releases from Tinhorn Creek.
