Foodie Friday – Hawksworth Restaurant dubbed ‘Restaurant of the Year’ by Maclean’s!

It’s an extra special edition of ‘Foodie Friday’ this week, for we are very excited that Hawksworth Restaurant has been named ‘Restaurant of the Year’ by Maclean’s magazine!

Maclean’s has produced their first ever edition dedicated in recognizing the best of the best that Canada’s restaurant scene has to offer and this special issue will be on shelves October 1st. We are proud to say that our very own Hawksworth Restaurant not only made the cut, but also has been given the top honour of ‘Restaurant of the Year’.

Renowned food journalist Jacob Richler of Maclean’s rallied 50 notable food critics from all over Canada to research their favourite Canadian establishments over the summer. Richler himself compares Hawksworth to the likes of its counterparts from distinguished culinary cities like New York and London.
