Aura Restaurant Shines with New Summer Menus at Nita Lake Lodge
Ingredient-driven, vegetable-forward recipes feature on the new summer menus at Aura Restaurant, located at Nita Lake Lodge, Whistler’s only lakeside boutique lodge. Dine à la carte from Aura’s fresh new seasonal menu or let Executive Chef Paul Moran take you on a culinary adventure with two new prix fix menus, the vegetarian menu for $55 per person and the Chef’s menu for $69 per person.
Chef Moran’s new seasonal dishes at Aura showcase local produce from Pemberton Valley and foraged wild greens from the lush forests surrounding Nita Lake. Try mouthwatering dishes such as yellow fin tuna tostada with chipotle, avocado and crispy leeks, or roasted halibut with toasted almond emulsion, English peas and rhubarb.
Herbivores will love the new vegetarian menu priced at $55 per person. One of the only restaurants in Whistler to offer a vegetarian Chef’s menu, Aura will feature dishes like warm kale & chia salad with Santa Barbara cherry tomato dressing; warm B.C. green asparagus with alpindon cheese and smoked bread with wild herbs.
For a leisurely lunch overlooking the sparkling Nita Lake, head to the patio at Cure Lounge, one of Whistler’s only lakeside lunch locations. Taste fresh summer dishes and choose from Cure’s carefully curated selection of fine wines, craft beers and spirits from local distilleries and say cheers to summer sun and lakeside fun.
Happy Hour has come to British Columbia and Cure Lounge is toasting to the new rules with $13 sangria pitchers, $4.50 pints (16oz), $3 sleeves (12oz) of Deep Cove Lager from 3:00 to 5:00pm daily.
