Savour the Sun: a winemaker dinner in partnership with Notch8 Restaurant at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver
Savour the Sun of Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country with a delicious, exclusive six-course wine dinner at Notch8 Restaurant & Bar at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.
In close collaboration with Notch8’s culinary team, the dinner will pair innovative dish creations with wines from Canada’s most decorated wine region. Representatives from five wineries will join guests to present and pour their wines, which inspired the multi-course course menu. Guests will have the opportunity to try library wines and new releases from Bordertown Estate Winery, Gold Hill Estate Winery, Nostalgia Wines, Road 13 Vineyards, Tinhorn Creek Vineyards and, all located on the sunny slopes of Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country.

Tucked into the restaurant’s private dining room, the evening will start with sparkling Blanc de Blanc from Tinhorn Creek Vineyards and menu highlights include Beet and Apple (citrus pearls, kombu salt, cucumber and herb water) with Bordertown Estate Winery’s 2023 Pinot Gris; Kona Kampachi Carpaccio (black garlic, persillade, asparagus and finger potato chip) paired with Road 13 Vineyards’ 2021 Viognier; Fire Roasted Eggplant Ravioli (savory tomato jam, prosciutto, olive crumb and pecorino), with Gold Hill Estate mWinery’s 2018 Cabernet Franc and Ash Crusted Beef Tenderloin (fire kissed radicchio, plum, potato pave and mocha jus) with Nostalgia Wines’ 2020 Merlot.
Reservations are now open online and the experience is available for $259.60 CAD per guest, inclusive of gratuity, plus applicable tax.
