Savour the Sun of Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country at Yellow Door Bistro on February 24th

Golden Mile Bench wineries Culmina Family Estate and Gold Hill Winery will be paired with 
five flavourful courses during a delicious evening of food and wine

Sip and savour wines from Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country with a delicious wine dinner on Thursday February 24th, 2022, at Calgary’s Yellow Door Bistro

Executive chef Quinn Staple will prepare an ingredient-driven, five course feast with each dish carefully paired with wines from two iconic wineries from the famed Golden Mile Bench, just south of Oliver in British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley. Culmina Family Estate Winery will present a selection of wines to guests, including signature 2016 Hypothesis Bordeaux-style blend, 2017 Dilemma Chardonnay and 2020 Decora Riesling, all exceptional examples of the region’s extraordinary terroir. From Gold Hill Winery, winemaker and general manager Val Tait will share her experiences as viticulturist and winemaker in the Okanagan wine industry for the past three decades, along with a taste of her artisanal approach to wine-growing via Gold Hill’s small lot, hand-crafted wines: 2020 Sauvignon Blanc, 2015 Syrah and 2015 Merlot.

Limited to just 50 guests, the Savour the Sun Calgary wine dinner will seat attendees together in groups, well-spaced from other diners, adhering to all provincial health orders and the restaurant’s COVID safety plan. Representatives from each winery will tell the story of their wines to the room, as each wine is presented, creating an interactive dining experience in a safe and thoughtful way. 

Limited reservations are available online for $122.50 per person (plus gratuity and tax). Make a night of it by staying at the elegant Hotel Arts, home to Yellow Door Bistro. The Corporate Wine Rate offers a 15% discount for all wine dinner guests, with rates starting from $152 for a studio room.
