Bel Café Scores with New World Cup-Inspired Treats and Match Day Eats
VANCOUVER, B.C. (June 11, 2026): As excitement builds for Vancouver’s World Cup summer, Bel Café is getting into the spirit with two limited-time menu additions designed for fans on the go. Whether you’re heading to a match, gathering for a watch party or simply looking to celebrate the occasion, Bel’s new World Cup-inspired offerings bring a playful twist to game day.
Leading the lineup are the new World Cup Cookies, handcrafted soccer-themed sugar cookies available in three unique designs. Priced at $5 each or three for $13, they’re the perfect sweet treat to enjoy with a coffee or share with friends while cheering on your favourite team.
For those looking for something more substantial, Bel Café is also introducing the Spicy Soccer Meatball Sub ($16), a satisfying sandwich packed with bold flavours and built for lunch before or after the action.
“The World Cup brings a real sense of energy to the city,” says David Hawksworth, Chef and Owner. “We wanted Bel Café to capture some of that excitement in a way that’s fun, approachable and delicious.”
The limited-time menu reflects Bel Café’s signature approach of combining handcrafted quality with everyday convenience, offering locals and visitors alike an easy way to fuel up throughout the tournament.
Located at 801 West Georgia Street at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia, The World Cup Cookies and Spicy Soccer Meatball Sub are available daily while quantities last at Bel Café throughout the tournament. The café is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
